He spent most of his life as a quarterback, and she, most of her life as a cheerleader. Although they were associated with different teams when they met, they immediately clicked. John Elway was a quarterback for the Denver Broncos before becoming the team’s General Manager and President, whereas Paige used to be a cheerleader for the Oakland Raiders.
They met at a golf tournament in 2005, and three years later, they got engaged in Italy. John and Paige tied the knot in August 2009. Paige has devoted a large part of her life to animals and charitable causes, including the Adopt, Don’t Shop program.
