While the world marveled at Richard’s incredible feats of strength, few knew the exhausting training regimen behind his success. Richard worked out every day, with his father and Frank pushing him harder and harder at each session. But the grueling workouts didn’t stop at the gym.
When Richard came home, his father had him do 300 squats, 600 push-ups, and 600 sit-ups every night. Such intense training left little time for a normal childhood. Despite this, Pavel believed that the sacrifice was worth it to see Richard achieve his full potential. The world may have seen the finished miracle of Richard’s strength, but there was more to it.
