Dannie J. Travanti, Hill Street Blues
Seasons: 7
Final Episode Airdate: May 12, 1987
Show Residuals: Up to $10k million a year

One of the best American serial police procedural television series, “Hill Street Blue,” was a big hit in the ’80s and it looks like it still is. It follows the lives of the officers and staff at a police station on a hill in an unnamed town. The name “Blues” refers to the officers who wear blue uniform.
In the show, Daniel Travanty plays the role of Captain Furillo, and he got numerous award nominations and even won a Golden Globe and two Emmy Awards. Despite the competition from new police procedural shows, Travanti still earns in excess of $10k per year.
