“The Wonder Years,” starring Kevin Arnold, was one of the best children’s comedies that aired from 1988 to 1993. Though most people remember it for the theme song, the main character was just as intriguing. Arnold, portrayed by Fred Savage, had mischief of his own and a fair share of nervousness.
Savage’s role is definitely what makes the show rewatchable. However, he never quite reached the heights he had aspired to, as the show was canceled after six seasons, mainly due to disagreements between executives and producers. Even more devastating, it meant that he never received a dime from the reruns.
