Maurício Rua & Renata Ribeiro
Maurício Rua, more commonly referred to as Shogun, is a Brazilian MMA fighter, competing in the light heavyweight category in the UFC. Before becoming a mixed martial artist, Rua was a model in Brazil. He began competing professionally in 2002, and since then, he became a UFC light heavyweight champion and a Pride Fighting champion.
Rua met his wife, Renata Ribeiro, in 2005. He worked extra hard to win her heart, proving that he really fights for what he wants. In addition to being a physiotherapist by profession, Ribeiro is also a beach volleyballer. The pair married in 2007 and welcomed their daughter Maria Eduarda in 2010.
