Greta Garbo is a star of the ‘50s. She opened up to TIME magazine saying that if she happened to find the right person, she would share her life with them. She further said that you can be blessed whether you’re single or married—which we do agree with. Garbo was once moments away from marriage, but she left Jack Gilbert at the altar on the very day of the wedding in 1927. Unsurprisingly, she wasn’t the warmest of people with those she didn’t know well. And as a result of all these things, rumors sparked regarding Garbo and Mimi Pollak. Garbo died at the age of 84 in 1990.
