Shonda Rhimes is not somebody we would describe as our average TV producer-writer. She’s been one to strike hits like Grey’s Anatomy, How To Get Away With Murder, and Scandal. Rhimes is a mom of three but refuses to get married. She shared with Oprah in 2015 that she doesn’t want to get married, ever. Her reason? Because she wouldn’t be living life on her terms the way she created it for herself and she doesn’t think she could cope with that. She’s an independent and successful woman and has no reason to tie herself down. In 2018, Rhimes’ salary is sitting at over $100 million a year.
