Justine Bateman is an actor, producer, and writer from the United States. Her role as Mallory Keaton in the TV sitcom Family Ties made her famous worldwide. For her appearance in the series, she was nominated for an Emmy in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series category. Satisfaction was Justine’s first film, which she starred in in 1988.
She took a sabbatical from acting in 2000 and was the CEO and designer of her own fashion label from 2000 to 2003. Bateman is also a director, and her latest film, Violet, which stars Olivia Munn, Justin Theroux, and Luke Bracey, is an official SXSW Film Festival selection for 2021.
