David Frederick Attenborough is a natural historian, broadcaster, and author from England. He is best known for authoring and presenting the nine natural history documentary series that make up the Life collection, a comprehensive survey of animal and plant life on Earth, collaborating with the BBC Natural History Unit.
The natural historian has hosted several highly successful documentary series, including Netflix’s Our Planet. He has written numerous books, including his autobiography, Life on Air, published in 2009. Many other volumes, including those accompanying Planet Earth, Frozen Planet, Africa, and other BBC programs narrated by Attenborough, have forewords and introductions written by him.
