Elke Sommer – Now 81 years old
There’s no mistaking a German accent. It’s as unique as the people who speak it—and actress Elke Sommer is one of the most instantly recognizable voices in the world. Born in Berlin in 1940, she started her career as a model and transitioned into acting. Elke gained international acclaim for her roles in films like Boy, Did I Get a Wrong Number! And Then There Were None and Carry On Behind.
She is perhaps best known for her work on the superhit movie A Shot in the Dark. Sommer was also a regular presence on television, appearing on episodes of The Dean Martin Show and on The Tonight Show, Starring Johnny Carson.
