LINDA EVANGELISTA – NOW 56 YEARS OLD
Linda Evangelista was born in Canada, on May 10, 1965. She attended Denis Morris Catholic High School as a teen and began modeling locally. In 1981, she competed in the Miss Teen Niagara beauty contest, where she was noticed by an Elite Model Management representative. Linda went to New York City after signing with Elite Model in 1984.
She was then relocated to Paris by the organization, where she began her international modeling career at the age of 19. Evangelista graced her first significant magazine cover, for L’Officiel, in 1984, and since then, her fame only grew. Evangelista has even featured in films in addition to modeling like Models: The Film.
