GEORGE FOREMAN – NOW 73 YEARS
George Foreman is one of the most successful boxers in history. He is admired for his incredible comeback story, and his successful business ventures. After falling to Jimmy Young in 1977, Foreman retired for the first time. He became ordained as a Christian preacher after experiencing what he described as a religious experience.
However, in 1994, George won the combined WBA, IBF, and lineal heavyweight championships after announcing his comeback ten years later. Foreman has received numerous accolades, including election to the World Boxing Hall of Fame and the International Boxing Hall of Fame. He is a successful businessman outside of boxing and is well-known for having promoted the George Foreman Grill.
