Hella von Sinnen and Cornelia Scheel – a couple for 25 years
The German comedian Hella von Sinnen and her then wife and longtime partner Cornelia Scheel were a couple for more than 25 years until the two separated in 2015. Cornelia Scheel is the adopted daughter of Walter Scheel, who was once the Federal President of Germany many years ago. Cornelia is also Hella’s manager and remained so even after the separation. The two parted on good terms and still see each other frequently. Both Cornelia and Hella grew up in the spotlight and know Germany’s celebrity industry very well. With her comedy shows and flashy overalls, Hella became an icon of the German comedy scene.
