The book and the film adaptation of the same name entitled “The Children from the Zoo Station” made Christiane Felscherinow and her sad story world famous. Although she was able to earn very good money by publishing her story and she then tried to use her great fame to gain a foothold in the artist scene and build an existence for herself, her drug addiction kept creating problems for her and destroyed her plans.
