The TV presenter and producer Bettina Böttinger married her longtime partner Martina Wziontek in a small circle and without announcing it, and on a special date. The wedding between the two took place on Bettina’s 60th birthday. Bettina is usually very private when it comes to personal issues and rarely appears on the red carpet with Martina. In a WDR documentary on the occasion of her 60th birthday, however, she spoke openly about her sexual orientation and said that life has not always been easy for her. According to her own statements, she fell in love with a classmate when she was at school and was almost expelled from school because of it.
