Ted Robbins is a comedian/actor who currently works on a BBC Radio Lancashire morning show. But in 2019, Robbins got a scare that’s no laughing matter. His Crawshawbooth, Lancashire home caught fire due to a tumble dryer accident. Robbins was treated for smoke inhalation. His wife Judy praised the intervention of the fire services, who arrived at the location within 8 minutes. Fortunately, both Robbins and his wife were not hurt.
Known for his one-liners and celebrity impressions, Robbins opened up about his five-decade career in show business in an episode of the podcast Erasing the Bar. The episode came out on April 2021.
