The hilarious English comedian Peter Kay is one of the highest-grossing comedians in the country. He had a £40-million tour lined up but decided to back out to spend some time away from the spotlight in his Clare, Galway home. According to the Daily Mail, the locals have hardly seen Kay walking around town (he’s extremely private), even though they have no issues with spotting his impressive Range Rover.
Due to the success of shows such as Peter Kay’s Car Share and Phoenix Nights, Kay is one of the most beloved comedians in the United Kingdom. In 2021, some local newspapers have even been pushing for Kay to run for prime minister!
