During the same year that Alex Trebek started hosting Jeopardy!, he also built his 5,554-square-foot home in Hollywood Hills using his huge earnings. However, after 12 years of owning the place, he decided to sell it at $3.995 million. Today, the house is decorated with red velvet chairs, zebra-print pillows, a fish tank, pool table, gym, and wet bar – straight up modern and far from its ’80s vibe. Trebek has since moved to a 6-bedroom house located in Studio City. In October 2017, he suffered from complications after hitting his head from a bad fall; fortunately, two months later, he underwent a successful surgery and went back to work by January 2018.
