Prior to relocating to Nashville, Tennessee, mega-famous country singer Dolly Parton experienced a childhood upbringing of abject poverty. Parton has written more than 3000 tunes! These include I Will Always Love You, which topped the US charts for country music twice. Additionally, it became an international hit for the late popular singer Whitney Houston. In 2017, Parton became the co-writer and provider of featured vocals on Rainbowland, a tune on singer Miley Cyrus’ album titled Younger Now. Cyrus is Parton’s goddaughter.
