Bradley Walsh’s role as Danny Baldwin in “Coronation Street” earned him notoriety. He is also known for his roles in “Doctor Who” from 2008 to 2021 and “Law & Order: UK” from 2004 to 2006. Throughout his illustrious career, Donna Derby has been his anchor. They met in 1992 and were married five years later. Walsh told the Huffington Post that his wife keeps him grounded while offering reliability, love, and stability.
He also credits Derby for encouraging him to go for the role in “Coronation Sreet.” He had reservations about taking up the role in 2004 because it meant spending considerable time away from home. Derby is a former dancer and choreographer famously known for featuring in Robert Palmer’s ’80s music video, “Simply Irresistible.”
