The life of the English actor Simon Gregson hasn’t always been perfect. He was forced to take a break from his Coronation Street job to focus on bettering himself after problems related to substance abuse. He portrays Steve McDonald since the early ’80s, and the ITV soap has pretty much kept him busy throughout his entire acting career.
Fortunately, Gregson can count on the support of his longtime partner and wife of 11 years, Emma Gleave. Gregson and Gleave have three children together, all boys. As of 2021, Gregson has appeared in a whopping 3,194 Coronation Street episodes!
