Imelda Staunton & Jim Carter – Married For 38 Years
Imelda Staunton is best known for her outstanding theatrical performances in Sweeney and Into the Woods, but she is also known for her marriage with Jim Carter, the legendary actor from the TV series Downton Abbey. Imelda and Jim got married in 1983 and are blessed with a lovely daughter, Bessie, who appeared together with them in the show Cranford.
The couple has been in the industry for decades but seems very far from stopping work. While Jim appeared in the film The Good Liar, Imelda is set to play the role of Queen Elizabeth II in the fifth season of The Crown.
