Meryl Streep has been through a lot in the past because a man she was deeply in love with, John Cazale, passed away. She probably didn’t want to be alone after experiencing such heartache so she eventually moved on fast. Her marriage to sculptor Don Gummer happened just six months after her former partner died.
Despite moving at a fast pace, the two were meant for each other and have protected their relationship until today. They are parents to one son and three daughters. The couple finally became grandparents back in 2019 after their eldest daughter, Mamie, welcomed a son with her husband.
