John Astin – 91
John Astin is responsible for giving us two amazing Hollywood characters. He gave us the quintessential blueprint for the Addams Family character Gomez Addams, which would be later mastered by the late Raul Julia. The other was raising Sean Astin right so that he could play Samwise Gamgee in The Lord Of The Rings with aplomb.
Astin played Gomez in the original Addams Family series from the ’60s, and also voiced the character in the early ’90s animated series. He was famous for more than that, starring in s string of films including the 1961 West Side Story and the 1976 rendition of Freaky Friday.
Chuck Woolery – 80
He was born in Kentucky back in 1941. Chuck Woolery grew up to become a successful TV game show host. As a matter of fact, he was the original host of the infamous Wheel of Fortune in the ’70s. After his six-year-long collaboration with the show ended he moved on to other projects.
He’s hosted shows like Love Connection, and The Chuck Woolery Show in the late ’80 and early ’90s. Today, he’s worth $15 million, and although he’s long-retired, he is still making headlines. The last time he was on TV was in 2019 with an episode of Fox and Friends.
