The 1970s through 1990s were the times when Richard Dreyfuss enjoyed a very busy acting career. Most people will remember him for the roles he had in Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Jaws, and Down and Out in Beverly Hills. For his performance in the movie The Goodbye Girl, he took home the Best Actor award at the Academy Awards back in 1977. He was also able to win a BAFTA and Golden Globe award for his performance. Retirement is not in Dreyfuss’ plans yet as he is set to star in an upcoming movie titled The Last Laugh in 2018.
