She’s also been the 67th U.S. secretary of state (2009-2013) and a U.S. senator from New York (2001-2009). Of course, how can we not mention that she also ran for the presidency twice, in 2008 and 2016?
A 14-year-old Hillary Clinton wrote a letter to the NASA space agency around 1961, expressing her interest in becoming an astronaut. However, they replied that they didn’t accept girls into their astronaut program. That left the future First Lady of the United States (1993-2001) ‘infuriated,’ which undoubtedly motivated her to be the woman she is today.
