Nancy Sinatra – 80

American singer and actress Nancy Sinatra is the daughter of music icon Frank Sinatra and Nancy Barbato. Nancy became widely known in the ’60s when she followed the footsteps of her famous father and started her own music career. She found great success with her international hit These Boots Are Made For Walkin’. Nancy also dabbled in acting and has participated in films like  The Oscar and  The Last of the Secret Agents. But probably her most famous acting stint was the one where she shared the screen with Elvis Presley in the 1968 film Speedway. Nancy is still active in the music scene and last released a digital-only album called Shifting Gears in 2013.

Margaret Kerry – 92

Margaret Kerry started working for Eddie Cantor as a teenager, making her film debut as his daughter. Her unique voice landed her lots of voice work on children’s television. It’s said she has almost 50 different character voices and many dialects to work with. She’s also famous for being the inspiration and movement model for Disney’s Tinkerbell in Peter Pan. Kerry’s savings account must be loaded. What an inspiring woman!

Lindsay Wagner – 71

Lindsay Wagner is popularly known for playing the lead role of Jaime Sommers in the ’70s sci-fi show, The Bionic Woman, which even earned her an Emmy Award. In the following decades, the Los Angeles-born star further honed her acting skills by appearing in several series, including Scruples, Jessie, A Peaceable Kingdom, and Grey’s Anatomy.

In 2018, game master Hideo Kojima tapped Wagner to voice a character in a game he developed titled Death Stranding, the first since he departed from Konami. Even though her acting career has slowed down these days, the 71-year-old is far from retirement as she is set to appear in Christmas at the Ranch (2021).

Ryan O’Neal – 80

Before Ryan O’Neal set out a career in acting, he first excelled in boxing. However, what really put him on the map was playing Rodney Harrington in the series Peyton Place from 1964 to 1969. He went on to appear in several films like Love Story, So Fine, Fever Pitch, and The List.

The 71-year-old was last seen in the TV show Bones, where he played Max Keenan from 2006 to 2017. Although O’Neal has decided to lay low nowadays, he virtually reunited with his Love Story on-screen partner Ali McGraw in February 2021, five decades after their film hit the big screens.

Jaclyn Smith – 75

While she first dreamed of becoming a dancer, destiny had other plans for Jaclyn Smith, who was discovered by an agent in New York. Before she knew it, she was bagging roles in the early ’70s, but it wasn’t until 1976 when she would be catapulted to stardom.

The Houston, Texas-native played the iconic Kelly Garrett in Charlie’s Angels for five years, becoming the only original lead star to finish the show’s run. She appeared in numerous series like The District and Hope & Faith. Smith has also earned friends in her time in Hollywood, including Jane Seymour, with whom she had a reunion in March 2021.

Vera Miles – 91 

Vera Miles starred in the 1956 movie The Searchers. The film was directed by John Ford and also starred John Wayne.  Many consider it to be the best classic western ever made (in comparison to Spaghetti Westerns like The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and Once Upon a Time in the West).

Miles also played in Hitchcock’s horror-thriller Psycho and in another classic western called The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. She married 4 times and has 4 children. Vera is 89 and quitted acting back in 1995.

Joan Collins – 87

She is known as one of the more remembered villains in television history for her role as Alexis Carrington in the long-running ’80s drama, Dynasty. Joanne Collins has been acting since a very early age, starting her career in the theater and transitioning to television later on. She won a Golden Globe for her work on Dynasty and continues to be considered an icon of the ’80s. Joanne has been more devoted to writing books in the last couple of decades, with best-seller titles such as the novel Prime Time and her memoirs, Past Imperfect. In 2019, she survived a fire that started in her London apartment and managed to get out unscathed.

Tommy Cook – 87

Tommy Cook was a charming young boy who starred in a few films from an early age. His vocal chops led to him securing parts in radio serials as well as doing voice work for various animated series. You may recognize him as the voice of Kid Flash in The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure. He retired from acting in the ’80s, but by then had built up enough of a credit score to always be able to afford anything he might need.

Tina Louise – 85

Tina Louise is one of the two surviving members of the iconic comedy TV show, Gilligan’s Island. Her character, Ginger, was an icon of the era. However, Tina feared that she would be typecast, which might be the reason why she never appeared in any of the revivals. She proceeded to participate in different movies and TV shows, including The Stepford Wives and Dallas. She has dedicated most of her time to one of the causes close to her heart, which is advocating for child literacy. She has written two children’s books and arranged for part of the book sales to benefit organizations that work in promoting children’s literacy.

Annie Ross – 87

Musical talent Annie Ross moved to Europe at a young age to pursue her jazz career. She started recording albums as a solo artist before forming the jazz trio Lambert, Hendricks & Ross. This trio soared to the top in the jazz world, collaborating with other jazz greats like Louis Armstrong. She set up her own business in the form of a nightclub, before things took a turn for the worst. After losing her ex-husband in a car accident, she faced bankruptcy. Luckily, she worked things out and now lives comfortably.

Katharine Ross – 79

Katharine Ross starred in the classic western Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid that starred megastars Paul Newman and Robert Redford. Katharine Ross was fantastic there as well. She was already a big name when she appeared in the western, thanks to her role in The Graduate. Ross also appeared in Voyage of the Damned and won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for her role there. Ross then starred in the TV show The Colbys. Katharine is now 79 years old and still has an active career as an actress not giving any thought to retirement yet.

Andrew Dunn – 63

You may know Andrew Dunn best as the world-weary canteen manager Tony in the British comedy series Dinnerlaadies. In real life, though, it seems like he couldn’t be more different from his former on-screen persona. Even now that he’s in his 60s, Dunn has a certain zest for life and excitement for his work.

Achieving his childhood dream of being an actor, he doesn’t seem to have retirement on his mind yet. In 2020, he starred in the horror-comedy movie Zomblogalypse, the film adaptation of the cult web series of the same name.

Shobna Gulati – 54

Shobna Gulati is an actress by trade. But in 2021, she showed off a different set of skills as she competed against other entertainers in Celebrity Best Home Cook. Whether or not she wins the competition, she’s already left her mark on British audiences with her long and varied career on television.

Gulati is best known for her 12-year stint playing the character Sunita Parekh on the ITV soap opera Coronation Street. You’ve probably also seen her in other popular shows like Doctor Who and River City in the years after she left Corrie.

Julie Goodyear – 79

Julie Goodyear is another actress who had a successful run with Coronation Street, starring as the barmaid Bet Lynch from 1966 to 2003. That good fortune isn’t lost on her. She’s even shared her wealth with the needy during a time of national crisis.

Anyone who’s lived through the ‘70s and ‘80s probably instantly gets nostalgic upon seeing William Daniels’ face. Though he’s not acting as much nowadays, he once used to be one of the most active TV actors out there! He even served as the 25th President of the Screen Actors Guild until 2001.

Of course, he had accomplished a jealous-worthy career by then, playing on shows like The Nancy Walker Show, Boy Meets World, and even St. Elsewhere. Daniels is 94 now, worth approximately $5 million. He’s going to be taking part in a documentary called SEGAL as per his IMDb page.

Kurtwood Smith – 78

The first time we saw Eric Laneuville on TV was in an episode of CBS Playhouse in 1968. He was born in New Orleans in 1952, meaning that he wasn’t even an adult at the time! Nevertheless, he soon enough found himself playing on Room 222 and St. Elsewhere.

Kim Novak had a great career in Hollywood. The actress started working for Columbia Pictures in 1954 and appeared in films with many huge names of the era. She may be most famous for her work in Hitchcock’s Vertigo but performed in many other films too. Novak took a break from acting to focus on her visual art and her ranch.
