Arlene Carol Dahl has had many careers in her lifetime. She rose to fame in the ’50s with films such as Slightly Scarlet and Journey to the Center of the Earth. Soon after, she opted to venture into setting up her own business of beauty products and ladies’ underwear. When this business came to an end, she started working for an advertising agency. As well as writing a column, she made lots of money selling beauty advertisements. Her copper looks still look as radiant as ever, so we’d take her advice any day.
