Kathryn Mary Draper Garraway, aka Kate Garraway, is a broadcaster and journalist who was born on May 4, 1967. Garraway served as a journalist for ITV News Central and later as a co-presenter of ITV News Meridian. Presently, she serves as a host of Smooth Radio’s Mid Mornings with Kate Garraway. She appeared in the fifth series of the dance reality show Strictly Come Dancing.
Kate has been married twice. Her first marriage with Ian Rumsey could not last longer than four years. After which, she tied the knot with Derek Draper in September 2005 in Camden, London. The couple is blessed with two children named Darcey and Billy.
