Don Knotts delivered quite a memorable performance in The Andy Griffith Show of the ‘60s as Deputy Sheriff Barney Fife. That particular role saw him earn five Emmys, and he went on to star in Three’s Company. Knotts was a comedic actor who also appeared in films like The Incredible Mr. Limpet and The Ghost and Mr. Chicken. TV Guide even included him on their list of 50 Greatest TV entertainers, giving him the 27th spot. Knotts died in 2006 from respiratory and pulmonary complications tied to lung cancer. At the time of his death, he was worth $20 million.
