Ted Koppel – $30 Million
For over 20 years, Ted Koppel was hosting Nightline on ABC. The show concluded in 2005. Ted was born in 1940, and with his outstanding career in journalism, he earned himself a $30-million fortune as well as tens of Emmy Awards. It’s safe to assume that the house he bought in 1997 had a large trophy room for his Emmys. He purchased over 16 acres in Maryland, replete with historical buildings dating back to the 18th century. Ted’s been married to Grace Anne Dorney since 1962. He might be retired, but he’s still making his way on television. In 2020 he participated as a contributor on CBS News Sunday Morning.
