Colton Underwood is a retired football player. He played college football at Illinois State & was signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2014. After retiring from the game, he was a contestant on the 14th season of The Bachelorette and was then announced as the bachelor for the upcoming season of The Bachelor. In 2014 Underwood had two unsuccessful spells with the San Diego Chargers and with the Philadelphia Eagles. In 2015 he was signed to the Raiders’ practice squad, but they released him shortly after.
