Former Disney child star Demi Lovato has gone through dark times in her life that involved drug addiction, which caused her to retreat from the spotlight. In fact, these things didn’t just affect her psychologically but physically as well because she revealed in February 2021 that she had suffered three strokes after an overdose in 2018.
The 28-year-old songstress has never shied away from her experiences believing these will help her followers. In 2020, Lovato also took to Instagram to inspire her fans, collectively called Lovatics, to embrace their natural selves by sharing a bare-faced selfie that highlighted her freckles.
