Dolly Parton has made an endless list of achievements in the music industry, but she doesn’t feel like she deserves to have a statue erected in her honor. She dismissed a 2021 proposal made by the Tennessee legislature to put up a statue in her likeness, saying it wasn’t appropriate given all that the world is going through.
Parton has, over the years, shared some insights about her flawless skin. Interviewed by Southern Living magazine, she admitted that she isn’t a natural beauty and has been donning beauty-enhancing products since her younger years. She told The New York Times that contrary to what is preached, she sleeps with a glammed-up look and washes her face in the morning.
