France’s Eiffel Tower is one of the world’s easily recognized monuments. Every year, tourists fill the streets of Paris, the so-called city of love. And what’s a trip to Paris without a picture showing the wrought-iron tower? The structure has been open since 1889 and drew inspiration from New York’s Latting Observatory.
