Did you know that Elizabeth Berkley’s role on Saved By The Bell was only created because the production could not decide whether they wanted Berkley or Thiessen on the series? Berkley was already a teen model before appearing on the comedy series but it seems that her first experience on TV kickstarted a new and fruitful career for her! Berkley is also an animal rights activist as well as a woman sensitive towards teen girls’ problems. She started her own workshops—that led to her publishing a book—called Ask Elizabeth regarding issues faced by teenage girls all over the States. She is also a happy mom as of 2012!
