Veteran broadcast journalist and TV personality, Barbara Walters had been the host for a number of programs in TV like The View, which she created, Today, and 20/20. She went into retirement from full-time work in 2014 due to heart disease but is still executive producer for The View. She had also hosted special reports for the other programs with which she has been affiliated, through until 2015. It’s been reported in 2018 that with a further decline in her health, she is now preparing for the inevitable.
