Paul Gascoigne headlined the news in 2014, first when he rented an apartment unit worth £3 million paying £6K each month. He fell out with his landlord, who wouldn’t renew his lease following disturbance complaints, and Gascoigne subsequently fell on tough times. He continues having legal trouble stemming from his reported alcoholism and mental illness.
